good one gotham,.. I'm around some of those supporters, and they won't even watch the mainstream media, and disregard it as noise compared to 'Rush'. it's quite amazing.

I'm waiting like friedman for someone to turn the energy, trade, educatioo deficit into a platform, but that would indeed be overly optimistic. You would think the democrats would've figured out how to play their diversity to their advantage by now.

Here's to hoping, but don't see much galvanizing leadership on the left. Maybe Russ Feingold, but then again maybe not. (That whole divorce thing is a problem.)

The GOP is very childish these days, which is funny considering their self-image as grown-up Dads. Yet, they are children, dependednt on the most base myths about the nobility and bravery of their leaderes.
